The ability to upgrade items (www.nlvbang.com) allows players to improve their weapons and gear with new affixes that boost the base stats of the item or providing additional benefits. To upgrade items, the player must have the item in their inventory, and also access the kiln.

Upgrade components

Leveling

The upgrade system in Path of Exile has some significant variations from previous versions. Gear is now categorized in tracks and each item can only be upgraded a certain number of times before it is "leveled out." The cost of upgrading increases with each level, however the materials required do not. This allows players to focus their efforts on a specific few items and maximize the effect of those items, instead of spreading the cost of upgrades across several pieces.

If an item does not attain its maximum level the NPC will offer the player the option to transfer it to a different character and then re-infuse it with another set of upgrades. This process can take up to two hours and will cost the same amount of material, though it will result in lower chances of success.

Engineers will employ a level to compare the height of the building with an established location, such as a benchmark. This method is known as a "level-loop." This involves taking readings using the level, backsighting rod, and then turning the level to take the foresighting rod reading. This method ensures that the buildings are constructed with the highest degree of precision and security.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process of changing the upgrade components of an item. It is a very important element of the game that can increase an item's damage, strength or other attributes. It is possible to do this through the item upgrader mod menu, or by pressing the Reroll button whenever you upgrade an item. Rerolling can be costly and should only be done in very rare instances.

Reroll tokens are earned by recycling upgraded items. These tokens can be used to upgrade the original item or a similar item. Recyclable items have a level gauge that shows how much of the upgrade gauge is filled. The rarity and the cost of upgrading an item determines the amount of level filled.
