The EV Star REEFERX was designed for Electric Scooter Green mid-to last mile refrigerated deliveries and catering applications. GreenPower partnered with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems that will enable fleets to easily move to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star is also capable of wireless charging up to 75 kW.
We were capable of testing the EV9 on the local highway for a few hours and found it easy to drive, and comfortable to drive over long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress wind and road noise while driving along the highway. It glides effortlessly over bumps and ruts. The acceleration of the vehicle is astonishingly fast, and it comes with adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by taking off the accelerator.
The EV9 offers a great range and can be charged within three hours or less at home, or using any commercial charger. Drivers can choose between two modes of operation: eco mode and sports mode. Eco mode is a great way to increase the torque, cruise control and handling, while sport mode increases speed. Both are a lot of fun to drive and offer a unique driving experience for anyone that has never been in an electric vehicle before.
In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other e-vehicles available, such as a multi-purpose, all-electric mini bus, called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used as executive shuttles, microtransit or green power Mobility transit vanpools, buses, and paratransit vehicles.

The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demand of the Biden Administration who is planning to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star buses are the first of their kind to be Altoona tested and FMVSS certified. They are Buy America compliant, and ADA conforming.
