Which Lightweight Double pushchair twin Should You Buy?

Side-by-side lightweight double pushchairs aren't 100% foolproof, however- if your children are the same age or stage they may still fight over who gets to ride in which seat. If they're different heights, a tandem model could be better for them as it lets them face each other.

Tandem

While side-by-side models may be more appropriate for siblings of the same age, tandem lightweight double pushchairs are a different kind of pushchair with their own appeal. They can accommodate a larger car seat, and some come with seats that can be reversible or a carrycot that is located in the middle. They are more spacious and are easier to get in and out of. Tandem lightweight double pushchairs will generally have tighter turns than side-by-side models, however they are more difficult to drive over bumps and uneven surfaces. They can also be slower to accelerate and more heavy to move. This puts strain on your back.

A convertible double buggy is another alternative. It is initially one but you can also add adapters to make it double. These can include an additional seat or carrycot in the front or the kids can be seated side-by-side.
