WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades give you boost in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases item level by 3. A random additional substat is also boosted alongside every upgrade.

Upgraded gear generally sees greater value for trade, unless it has inherently low requirements (like the FB shield of the sorc) or has a high stat variation (like the eth titan weapons). The latter are less valuable from upgrading due to the requirement to roll for a perfect model.

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be made on any type of weapon or armor.
